My Experience
After completing my PGCE in Primary Education in Summer 2021, I have gained experience working across the full primary age range, from Early Years through to Year 6. I have worked as both a teacher and a teaching assistant, providing 1:1 and small group support for children with a wide range of additional and Special Educational Needs.
My Approach
My teaching philosophy is simple: every child deserves to feel confident and capable in their learning.
Why I Started ClearStepsLearning
I created ClearStepsLearning to provide supportive, personalised tutoring that builds confidence as well as academic skills. My sessions are carefully adapted to each individual child, drawing on my experience in both classroom teaching and targeted SEND support to ensure learning is accessible, engaging, and tailored to their needs.
Safeguarding
I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (Child Workforce) and am subscribed to the DBS Update Service. Safeguarding and creating a safe, supportive learning environment are at the heart of everything I do.
