What age groups do you support?
I support children across all primary school ages with experience stemming from Early Years all the way up to Year 6.
How do online sessions work?
Sessions take place online using a secure video platform such as Zoom or Google Meet. Prior to the first session, parents will receive a link and any information needed to access the session.
Each session is tailored to the individual child’s needs and may include a mixture of teaching, discussion, games, interactive activities and practice tasks designed to build both confidence and skills.
Parents are welcome to remain nearby during sessions, particularly for younger children, but children are encouraged to develop independence where appropriate.
After each session, an email containing feedback and future learning priorities identified where relevant will be sent.
Do parents need to stay nearby?
Depending on the age and needs of the child, I recommend that parents remain nearby during sessions. As children become more confident and independent, they may require less support from.a parent or carer.
Do you support children with SEND?
I do! I have experience supporting and teaching children with a range of needs. As part of the enquiry form and consultation we can discuss your child’s needs and any specific support that helps.
What happens if my child misses a session?
If your child is unable to attend a session, please notify ClearStepsLearning as soon as possible.
Where at least 24 hours’ notice is provided, sessions may be rearranged where availability allows.
Unfortunately, sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are non-refundable and cannot usually be rearrange. If ClearStepsLearning needs to cancel a session for any reason, an alternative session will be offered or a refund provided.

How are sessions paid for?
Sessions are invoiced monthly in advance and can be paid by bank transfer using the account details provided on your invoice.
How long are sessions?
Most sessions are 45 minutes. Longer 60-minute sessions are available for 1:1 tutoring and homeschool support where appropriate.
